Your 10 metre roll is available in widths of 50mm, 75mm, 100mm, 150mm, 225mm, 300mm, 450mm & 600mm to help you complete your task. This tape is very versatile and is designed to be used on many applications - roofs, pitched and flat, around chimney stacks and parapets and in roof valleys. Because of its flexibility it is perfect for using around guttering and extractor vents, around roof lights and flues, RSJs and for finishing concrete columns. Bitu Bond is strong enough to resist puncturing and the elasticity of the bitumen gives flexibility and adhesion but negates the problems of slump. The thickness of the self-adhesive bitumen ensures very close contact, even on comparatively rough surfaces, while the product's durability provides long-lasting protection combined with an attractive appearance; this is such a great all rounder its worth keeping a roll or two on the shelf.

Preparation of your surfaces before you apply Bitu Bond is extremely IMPORTANT - all surfaces must be structurally smooth, clean, dry and dust-free. Any loose matter must be removed with a wire brush. Any moss or lichen should be removed using a fungicidal wash. Porous or rough surfaces should be primed with BITUMEN PRIMER and allowed to dry before applying FLASHING TAPE.
In cold weather conditions, store the roll at a temperature above 10° C for 48 hours prior to using. During application gently warm the strip to improve adhesion. Do NOT apply the FLASHING TAPE in temperatures below 5° C
