The Makita EK6100 Disc Cutter replaces the DPC6430, this new model has the following advantages:

Lightweight; 1.2kg (2.6lbs) lighter than DPC6430
Enhanced air filtration; cyclone pre-separation system effectively removes dust particles away from intake air and reduces dust stuck on the filter.

The new Makita EK6100 2-stroke petrol disc cutter has a powerful, low emission engine. The EK6100 12" machine has a 61cc motor delivering 4.2hp

The 12" EK6100 model, which takes a 305mm diameter cutting wheel for a maximum 110mm depth of cut, has the smallest overall size profile of any Disc Cutter on the market.

This makes the Makita EK6100 a nimble, highly manoeuvrable machine for tight space locations.  The low emission engine benefits from Stratified Air Scavenging technology and a clean exhaust system protecting both the operator and the environment.

The exhaust outflow is directed towards the cutting point to improve the operators view of the material.

Water dust suppression is an integral part of the Makita EK6100 disc cutter design.
