For green oak, treated softwood, composite decking or anything that sees standing water, stainless is the correct spec.

The reduced head diameter sits neatly in the groove of standard decking boards without standing proud or creating a snag point underfoot. Double countersinking helps the head pull flush cleanly, which means less risk of head shear and no need to spend time reaming out pilot holes first.
