Paslode IM65 nails don’t always get the credit they deserve, but anyone who has spent a day second-fixing with a gas nailer knows how much a quality nail pack matters. These angled 16g galvanised brad nails are made specifically for the Paslode IM65 and IM50 F16 gas nailers and come in a pack of 2000 with 2 fuel cells included, so you are not hunting around for gas cells on a busy day.

The nails are galvanised to a light duty 1 to 3 micron coating, which gives adequate protection for interior timber fixing and sheltered applications. These are not intended for fully exposed exterior use, but for the joinery and fitting work these nailers are built for, the galvanising does the job.

Why the Angled Collation on Paslode IM65 Nails Matters

The angled strip format is what allows the IM65 to reach into tighter corners and awkward spaces that a straight nailer simply cannot get into. This is particularly useful when fixing architrave, skirting, or stair casing where you are working close to a wall or into a corner. The chisel point on each nail helps it penetrate cleanly into the timber without splitting the face or pushing the workpiece out of position, which matters when you are pinning delicate mouldings or fine joinery.

The glue collation keeps the strips tight and feeding consistently through the magazine. Poorly collated nails are one of the more frustrating things on a site day, and these are put together properly. Available in five lengths from 32mm through to 63mm, there is a size for most second fix timber applications including skirting, dado rail, door architrave, window boards, and panel fixing.

Each pack contains 2000 nails and 2 fuel cells, which is a practical combination for most day-to-day joinery tasks. The lost head design means fixings can be punched in and filled for a clean finish, keeping your work looking as it should.

Pro Tip: When using the IM65 in cold weather, keep the gas cell in a jacket pocket between uses to maintain fuel pressure and stop misfires.
