The Abracs DSB12 is a 12-litre dust suppression water bottle built for cutting, drilling and grinding applications. Comes with a 4-metre anti-kink hose, 10cm filling funnel, pressure release valve and universal hose connection. Proper site-ready kit.
Dust is one of those things on site that you only take seriously after you probably should have. The Abracs 12L dust suppression water bottle gives you a straightforward, pressurised water supply exactly where it’s needed, whether you’re cutting concrete, drilling masonry or grinding down surfaces. The abracs 12l dust suppression water bottle is designed specifically for wet-cutting and grinding work where a continuous trickle of water keeps dust levels manageable and compliant with health and safety requirements.
The 12-litre capacity is well suited to extended work sessions without constant refilling. A wide 10cm funnel makes filling quick, even with gloves on, and the reinforced base with wide handle keeps the bottle stable when you set it down on uneven ground. Because it will get set down on uneven ground. That’s just site life.
What the Abracs DSB12 Dust Suppression Bottle Includes
The bottle comes supplied with a 4-metre anti-kink hose with a universal fitting, so it connects to most angle grinders, disc cutters and core drills that accept wet-cutting attachments. The hose fixing clips keep the hose secure to the bottle so it doesn’t trail around or snag mid-cut. A pressure release valve lets you safely vent stored pressure once the job is done rather than leaving it under load between uses. There’s also a small storage compartment built in, useful for keeping your hose fittings or cutting tips together in one place.
Industrial Polythene Construction
The bottle itself is made from industrial-grade polythene, which handles site conditions without cracking or warping from UV exposure or minor knocks. It’s the kind of material that doesn’t make headlines but quietly does its job for years. The reinforced base adds stability and extends the working life of the bottle when it’s being dragged around a busy work area.
If you’re regularly working with angle grinders or disc cutters on masonry, concrete or stone, a dust suppression setup like this is no longer optional in most working environments. The DSB12 keeps it simple and cost-effective.
Pro Tip: Always uncoil the full length of the hose before pressurising the bottle, as kinks close to the bottle end can restrict flow and cause pressure to build unevenly, which shortens the life of both the hose and the valve.
The Abracs DSB12 is used wherever wet-cutting or wet-grinding is required to control airborne dust. Groundworkers, floorers, stone masons and general builders reach for it when cutting concrete blocks, kerb stones, paving slabs or brick with an angle grinder or disc cutter. It's also used during core drilling into masonry walls or floors where silica dust is a significant risk. Any trade working under COSHH regulations around respirable dust will find this a practical solution for keeping a wet feed running at the cutting point without needing a mains water connection nearby.

Built-in storage compartment
Not suitable for: Not suitable for use with chemicals, solvents or any liquid other than clean water. Not intended as a general-purpose garden sprayer or pump sprayer for liquids other than dust suppression water feed.
Fill the bottle through the 10cm funnel, ensuring the cap is sealed before pressurising. Connect the 4-metre hose to your angle grinder or cutter using the universal fitting, and clip the hose fixing in place to stop it working loose during use. Pressurise the bottle by pumping the valve until you feel resistance, then open the flow to the tool and begin cutting.
When the job is done, use the pressure release valve to vent any stored pressure before disconnecting the hose. Don't leave the bottle pressurised between sessions. Store the hose coiled loosely rather than tightly wrapped to extend its working life.
Remove the cap and fill the bottle with clean water through the 10cm funnel
Replace and tighten the cap securely before pressurising
Connect the 4-metre anti-kink hose to your cutting tool using the universal fitting
Clip the hose fixing to keep the hose secured to the bottle
Pump the pressure valve until resistance is felt and pressure is built
Open the water flow to the tool and begin your cut or grind
Refill when the water level drops to avoid running dry mid-cut
Once finished, open the pressure release valve to vent stored pressure safely
Disconnect the hose and store coiled loosely to prevent kinking
Does the Abracs DSB12 come with the hose included?
Yes, it comes supplied with a 4-metre anti-kink hose with a universal fitting. You don't need to buy the hose separately.
Will this connect to my angle grinder?
The DSB12 uses a universal hose connection, so it is compatible with most angle grinders and disc cutters that accept a wet-cutting water feed attachment. If your tool requires a specific threaded fitting, check the tool manufacturer's specifications before purchase.
Can I use this for anything other than water?
No. The bottle is designed for clean water only and should not be used with any chemicals, solvents or other liquids. Using anything other than water risks damaging the bottle, hose and fittings, and could create a safety hazard.
The Abracs DSB12 is constructed from industrial-grade polythene with a reinforced base, giving it good resistance to site knocks and UV exposure over time. The pressurised system uses a hand-pump valve mechanism to build internal pressure, feeding water through the 4-metre anti-kink hose at a steady controlled rate. The pressure release valve is a standard safety feature that vents stored pressure safely. Maximum capacity is 12 litres.
