Timberfix Structural Timber Screws – Forgefast Torx – Box 50

Timberfix Forgefast Torx structural timber screws are built around a spiral shank that borrows technology from high-speed twist drills. That spiral shank means the screw cuts through timber more cleanly and with less resistance, so you get faster insertion and less effort driving each one home. For anyone fixing timber all day, that adds up quickly.

The partial thread is worth mentioning too. It reduces the jacking effect you get with full-thread screws in timber-to-timber applications, where both pieces start pulling apart as the screw drives in. These screws pull the joint tight and keep it there.

What Makes the Forgefast Torx Design Different

Each screw carries two drive options: a Torx head and a hex head. The Torx delivers higher torque with lower cam-out risk, which matters when you are driving long screws into hardwood or engineered timber.
