Masonry frame fixing screws are the straightforward solution for anchoring frames directly into masonry without plugs, without pre-marking, and without the back-and-forth of separate fixings. These 7.5mm concrete frame screws let you drill and fix in one operation, which on a busy install day adds up to a serious time saving. Available in a full range of lengths from 42mm up to 212mm, so whether you are fixing a slim window frame into a block wall or a heavy timber beam into solid concrete, there is a size for the job.
Each screw features a T30 Torx drive recess, which gives good torque control and reduces driver wear compared to a standard Phillips or pozi head. If you have ever stripped a fixing halfway through a frame install, you will appreciate why that matters. The flat countersunk head has five locking ribs that bite into the frame surface and resist rotation once driven home.
Why These Masonry Frame Screws Work Well on Site
The thread design does a lot of the work here. A deep high-low thread profile cuts into the base material and locks in place, giving strong pull-out resistance across concrete, solid brick, perforated brick, hollow blocks and natural stone. Serrated V-threads help the screw cut cleanly through varied masonry types rather than jamming or wandering off line. The through-fixing method means you drill through the frame and into the substrate in one pass, which eliminates the separate step of marking up the wall before positioning the frame. That is particularly useful when fitting door frames to a tight reveal.
Each box of 100 comes with a Torx bit included, which is a small thing but worth noting if you are on a job without a full bit set to hand. The virtually stress-free expansion action also makes these suitable for close-edge applications where a traditional expansion anchor would risk splitting the masonry.
Pro Tip: Always use a rotary-only drill mode when driving these into perforated brick or hollow block, as hammer action can crack the web between cavities and dramatically reduce pull-out strength.
