VIPER straight brad nails in stainless steel are designed for use with straight-magazine gas nailers, giving you a clean, reliable fixing on internal joinery work. The T-head profile sits flush below the surface once driven, leaving a small, neat entry point that takes filler cleanly without any proud edges or proud heads to sand back. These viper straight brad nails are a sensible choice wherever the finish matters as much as the fixing.
Stainless steel construction means these nails will not rust or bleed through painted or stained surfaces over time. That is particularly useful in areas with higher moisture exposure, such as bathrooms, kitchens or utility rooms, where standard galvanised brads can let you down once the paint coat breaks down.
Where VIPER Straight Brad Nails Get Used
The low-penetration shank design reduces resistance as the nail drives through the material, which helps prevent splitting in finer-grained or thinner timber sections. You get a cleaner drive with less risk of the workpiece shifting or cracking, which is exactly what you want when fixing delicate mouldings or pre-finished boards.
Compatible Gas Nailers
These nails are supplied with a gas canister, so you have everything needed to get started or to keep the job moving without a separate gas order. The straight collation format is compatible with Paslode and Firmahold straight-magazine brad nailers, both of which are widely used on site and are reliable performers for this type of finish work.
A box of 2000 nails covers a good run of work. A standard room with full skirting, door architrave and a feature wall of tongue and groove panelling will get through a few hundred nails, so having the full 2000 in hand means you are not stopping mid-job to reorder. Available in 32mm, 38mm and 50mm to suit different material thicknesses and fixing requirements.
Pro Tip: When fixing pre-finished MDF skirting, reduce the drive depth setting on your nailer by one notch to avoid sinking the T-head too deep and cracking the face coating around the entry point.
