Intumescent Pipe Collar

An intumescent pipe collar is one of those products that sits quietly in the wall doing nothing — until it absolutely has to. Fitted around plastic soil, waste or drainage pipes where they pass through fire-resistant structures, the collar’s job is to respond when everything else is going wrong. In a fire, plastic pipe burns through and disappears, leaving a hole in your fire-rated wall or floor.
