Clean all surfaces thoroughly before applying. Remove any old sealant, grease, soap residue or dust — the anti-fungal compound cannot save a seal that has been applied over a contaminated joint. Cut the nozzle to the required bead size, load into a standard cartridge gun, and apply in a single continuous pass where possible.
Tool off immediately with a dry finger or a dedicated profile tool. Wipe away any excess before it starts to skin. Leave to cure fully before exposing the joint to water — typically 24 hours depending on temperature and humidity. The acetoxy cure will produce a slight vinegary smell during curing, which is completely normal and clears once the sealant has set.

Can MM50 be used on natural stone tiles?
No. The MM50 uses an acetoxy cure system, which releases acetic acid during curing. This can cause staining or discolouration on porous natural stone surfaces such as marble, limestone and travertine. For natural stone, use a neutral cure silicone instead.
Is the anti-fungal protection in MM50 a long-term feature or does it wear off?
