Practical Handling

The mesh cuts cleanly with standard scissors or a knife, and it is light enough that you can hold it in place with one hand while trowelling with the other. Some meshes are so stiff they spring back at you. This one stays where you put it.

Application is straightforward. Apply your scratch coat, press the mesh into the wet render, then trowel over to fully embed it. You want the mesh sitting in the middle of your base coat, not on the surface. Leave it proud and you will see the grid pattern ghosting through your top coat, which is not the look anyone is after.
