Everbuild Constructa Pro foam is a gun-grade polyurethane adhesive foam built for the kind of jobs where a tube of grab adhesive just isn’t going to cut it. Whether you’re fixing plasterboard to a masonry wall, bonding insulation panels to a flat roof, or pinning skirting boards without reaching for the rawlplugs, this is the product that gets it done in one pass. The Everbuild Constructa Pro foam adheres to stone, concrete block, brick, timber, metal, insulation board and most common building substrates without needing primers or surface prep beyond basic cleanliness.

What makes it genuinely useful on site is the combination of limited post-expansion and fast initial tack. You apply the bead, press the board, prop it if needed, and an hour later you’re plastering or moving on to the next sheet. That’s a real time saving compared to dot-and-dab, which involves mixing, waiting, and a fair amount of mess. One can covers around 12m² of insulation panels when applied as three beads per square metre, so it’s economical if you’re applying it correctly and not going heavy-handed.

Where Everbuild Constructa Pro Gets Used on Site

Cold-weather working is where this foam pulls ahead of a lot of alternatives. Application temperature can go as low as -5°C, provided the can itself is above +5°C. That’s a meaningful real-world spec for anyone working on unheated new-builds or external wall insulation through winter. Once cured, the foam is rot-proof and moisture resistant, and handles a temperature range of -40°C to +80°C without going brittle. It remains flexible throughout its life, which matters on timber-framed structures where a little movement is always going to happen.

It’s solvent-free and CFC/HCFC-free, so no ozone-depleting propellant and no solvents off-gassing in enclosed spaces. Compatibility is broad: most paints, many solvents, and a wide range of chemical substrates won’t cause adhesion failure. One thing worth noting is that cured foam should not be left exposed to UV for extended periods. Cover it with plaster, paint or another finish layer and it’ll last indefinitely.

For trade use, the gun-grade format means consistent, controllable application rather than wrestling with a straw nozzle on a standard can. If you’re doing any volume of dry lining, insulation boarding or general fixing work, it’s worth keeping a few cans in the van.

Pro Tip: Warm the can to at least 15°C before use in cold conditions, even if the ambient temperature is above the minimum threshold — a cold can produces inconsistent bead pressure and wastes product.
