Everbuild Constructa Pro foam is a gun-grade polyurethane adhesive foam built for the kind of jobs where a tube of grab adhesive just isn’t going to cut it. Whether you’re fixing plasterboard to a masonry wall, bonding insulation panels to a flat roof, or pinning skirting boards without reaching for the rawlplugs, this is the product that gets it done in one pass. Not suitable for: Cured foam should not be left exposed to UV radiation for extended periods as it will degrade on the surface. It is not suitable for structural load-bearing applications where certified mechanical fixings are required by building regulations.

Usage

Fit the can to a compatible PU foam gun and adjust the dosing valve before starting. Shake the can well and apply a continuous bead or serpentine pattern to the substrate or the back of the panel. Press the panel firmly into position immediately after application. The limited post-expansion means there is less chance of bowing, but light props or temporary supports are still a sensible precaution on larger boards.

Work within the temperature limits: substrate and ambient air should ideally be above 5°C, even if the can tolerates lower. Once applied, most boards can be plastered or worked on within an hour. If applying in warm or dry conditions, a light mist of water on the substrate can improve adhesion and accelerate cure.
