Scan navy blue disposable overalls are built for trades where you need full-body coverage without committing a decent set of work clothes to the cause. Spray painting, insulation work, asbestos surveys, demolition prep — there are plenty of jobs where you want to get in, get it done, and bin the suit on the way out. These do exactly that.
The 60g heavy-duty fabric puts these a step above the thin, papery disposables that split when you bend your knee. There’s enough weight to them that they feel like actual PPE rather than a bin bag with sleeves. Knitted cuffs at the wrists stop them riding up and keep debris out, while the elasticated hood, waist and ankles give a proper fit rather than leaving you draped in excess material like you’ve borrowed someone three sizes bigger.
What Makes These Scan Disposable Overalls Worth Having On Site
The concealed double zip runs the full length of the front and stays put under pressure. External triple stitching along the seams means the suit holds together when you’re actually moving around in it — crouching, climbing, crawling through a loft. Seam integrity is usually the first thing to go on cheaper disposables, so this matters more than it sounds.
Navy blue is a sensible colour choice for most trade environments. It doesn’t show minor dust and smearing the way white does, which means you’re not quite as alarming to the general public when you nip out to the van. Small thing, but useful.
Sizing and Fit
Available in medium (92-100cm), large (100-108cm), XL (108-115cm) and XXL (115-124cm). Chest measurements are the guide here, so check before ordering in bulk. Disposable overalls generally run a touch generous to allow for layering over existing clothing, which is usually exactly what you want on a cold job in January.
Scan disposable overalls are sold individually, making them straightforward to stock in the van or site cabin without committing to enormous quantities. That said, bulk pricing from DTS makes keeping a supply on hand genuinely cost-effective.
Pro Tip: When working in contaminated environments, put your disposable overall on before entering the area and remove it by rolling it inward from the shoulders so the contaminated outer surface stays contained — this is standard practice for asbestos and lead paint work.
