Unroll the film along the glass surface with the adhesive side facing the glass. Press firmly from the centre outwards to remove air pockets and ensure the film bonds evenly across the pane. Trim to size with a knife or scissors as needed. Remove the film at the end of the job by peeling back slowly at a low angle to keep the adhesive intact.
Clean the glass surface to remove any loose dust or debris before applying
Cut the film to the approximate length needed before unrolling across the glass
Position the film with the adhesive coating facing the glass surface
Press firmly from the centre outward to bond the film and remove air bubbles
Trim edges neatly with a sharp knife or scissors to fit the pane
Leave in place for the duration of the work and remove by peeling back slowly at a shallow angle
Will the glass protector leave adhesive residue on the glass when removed?
When removed correctly — peeling back slowly at a low angle rather than pulling sharply — it should come off cleanly without leaving residue. Avoid leaving it in place for extended periods in direct sunlight, as heat can affect the adhesive and make removal trickier.
What is the difference between the 25m and 100m rolls?
Both are the same 600mm wide film with identical properties. The 25m roll suits smaller jobs or spot protection on a handful of windows. The 100m roll is the practical choice for larger sites or contracts where you need to cover multiple rooms or floors without running out mid-job.
