A wc pan fixing kit sounds like a small thing, and in terms of size it is. But get it wrong and you are looking at a cracked pan, a wobbly fixture, or a floor fixing that looks like an afterthought. This kit has everything you need to do the job properly the first time, without rummaging through the van for matching parts.

Each kit contains two 6.0 x 80mm hex head slotted coach screws, two 50mm nylon plugs, two 6.0mm nylon bushes and two 18mm cover caps. The nylon bushes are the important detail here. They sit between the coach screw and the porcelain, acting as a cushion so you are not driving hard fixings directly against a surface that has very little forgiveness. Porcelain does not flex. It just cracks. The bushes prevent that.

The cover caps finish the job off cleanly, available in either chrome or white to match your sanitary ware. It is a small thing, but a client notice when a cap is missing or mismatched. The 80mm screw length gives solid purchase into most solid floor substrates, including concrete screed, which is where most bathroom floors end up.

No need for nylon plugs when fixing into timber floors, the coach screw goes straight in, which simplifies the installation on timber subfloors. The hex head with slotted drive gives you two ways to drive the screw, which is always welcome when you are working in a tight space around a newly positioned pan.

The cover caps come in both chrome and white, so you can match the finish to the sanitary ware or suite fittings. Order the right colour when you are quoting the job rather than after, saves a second delivery.
