Bondit Xtreme is a premium grade anti-mould silicone sealant that goes a step further than standard bathroom sealants. It contains a powerful anti-fungal biocide that actively prevents mould, mildew and bacterial growth for up to 10 years. That claim is backed by a CE approval, which at least means someone has tested it rather than just printed it on the tube.

Acetoxy cure silicone gets a solid bond on most non-porous surfaces without needing a primer. It cures to a permanently flexible, waterproof seal that handles the constant wet-dry cycling you get around baths, shower trays and sanitary ware. In high-humidity environments, standard sealants tend to show black mould growth within a year or two. Swimming Pool Areas

Bondit Xtreme can be used around swimming pool surrounds and changing areas where humidity is extreme. It is not suitable for use submerged in pool water, but for the surrounding tiled surfaces and joints it handles the conditions well.
