Multi Tool Carbide Grit Radial Saw Blade – 65mm – Tiles, porous concrete and plaster
£3.49£4.19 EX VATINC VAT
A 65mm carbide grit radial blade for oscillating multi tools. Cuts tiles, porous concrete, plaster and similar hard construction materials. Quick-release fitment and fits most major multi-tool brands.
The 65mm carbide grit multi tool radial blade is one of those bits that earns its keep on site. Tile removal, plaster grooving, cutting into porous concrete, sorting out damaged grout joints — this blade handles all of it without complaint. The carbide grit edge is the key here. Rather than teeth that can skip or chip on hard, brittle materials, the continuous grit edge bites in and grinds through, giving you controlled cuts where a toothed blade would either stall or make a mess.
Oscillating multi tools are genuinely useful machines, but they’re only as good as the blade fitted to them. A cheap bi-metal blade will get you so far on soft materials, but once you’re into tiles or harder plaster, you feel it immediately. The carbide grit construction of this 65mm blade is a proper step up for those jobs. Slower cut than timber work, yes, but controlled and clean where it counts.
Where the 65mm Carbide Grit Radial Blade Gets Used
Tile work is probably the most common application. Whether you’re cutting out a cracked tile, slotting into a grout joint, or shaping around an obstacle, the radial profile gives you a wide arc of contact that makes the job faster. Porous concrete — think lightweight blocks, aerated concrete board — responds well too. The grit doesn’t care much about the variable density you get in those materials.
Plaster is another regular one. Running a groove for a cable channel, cutting back around a pipe, or removing a section cleanly before patching — the carbide grit handles the grit and aggregate in the plaster without the blade snatching or vibrating excessively.
Compatibility
This blade fits the quick-release and standard fitment systems used across the main multi-tool brands: AEG, Black and Decker, Bosch, Craftsman, DEWALT, Einhell, Fein MultiMaster, MacAllister, Makita, Mastercraft, Milwaukee, Ridgid, Rockwell, Skil, Stanley and others. If your machine takes a standard oscillating blade fitting, this will go straight on.
At this price point, it makes sense to keep a couple in the bag. Carbide grit blades do wear, especially on dense materials, and you don’t want to be hunting for a replacement mid-job. Worth noting that this blade is designed for hard, abrasive construction materials — it is not the right choice for timber or metal cutting, so keep your bi-metal and wood blades separate.
Pro Tip: Let the oscillation do the work and keep your feed pressure light on tiles; pushing too hard generates heat that can dull the carbide grit faster than the cutting itself.
