Eye Wash Station
£17.96£21.55 EX VATINC VAT
A compact briefcase-style eye wash station with sterile saline solution, eye pad dressings and a wall mounting bracket. Ready to deploy in an emergency, suitable for workshops, sites and warehouses.
An eye wash station is one of those things you hope never gets used, but the moment it does, you’ll be very glad it’s on the wall and not still in the van. This Scan compact briefcase-style kit gives you a straightforward, wall-mounted first aid solution for eye irrigation emergencies. Everything is included out of the box, and the bracket means it can be fixed in seconds wherever it’s needed most.
The kit contains two 500ml bottles of Reliwash sterile saline solution, which is the correct solution for irrigating eyes after contact with dust, debris, chemicals or any other foreign material. It also includes two No.16 sterile eye pad wound dressings and the wall hanging bracket itself. No hunting for bits. No sourcing separately.
What Makes This Eye Wash Station Worth Having on Site
The briefcase design keeps everything clean, protected and together. Unlike loose bottles kept in a drawer somewhere, this format means the contents stay sterile and the kit is instantly recognisable when someone needs it quickly. First aid situations are not the time to be rummaging around.
Wall mounting puts the kit at eye level and in a fixed location, so anyone on site can find it without asking. This matters in dusty environments like workshops, fabrication areas, and construction sites where eye injuries from particles and splashes are a genuine daily risk. The compact size also means it fits without taking up much space, which is useful when wall space is already spoken for.
Kit Contents at a Glance
Two 500ml Reliwash sterile saline bottles provide enough capacity for a thorough eye flush. The sterile saline formulation is appropriate for emergency eye irrigation and will not cause further irritation. The No.16 eye pad dressings allow the affected eye to be covered once flushing is complete, protecting it before the casualty reaches further medical care. The wall bracket completes the setup with no additional fixings required beyond what you’d use to hang anything on a wall.
For any workplace where eye protection is required, a dedicated eye wash station on the wall is a sensible baseline. This kit keeps the cost low and the setup quick.
Pro Tip: Mount the kit at roughly chest to shoulder height so it is accessible even if the casualty is holding their eyes closed and needs someone else to operate it quickly.
