Plug into a 110V site transformer using the supplied BS-approved cable. Position the pod on a flat surface, scaffold board, or hang it using the foldable handle, then adjust the head angle to direct light where it is needed. The 180° handle articulation gives you plenty of options for awkward spots.
There is no warm-up time. The light is at full output the moment it is switched on, which sounds obvious but is worth knowing if you are used to older discharge or halogen lamps. Keep the lens clear of heavy dust buildup over time for best output — a quick wipe is all it takes.

Will this site light work with a standard 240V supply?
No. This is a 110V unit and is supplied with a 110V BS plug for use with a site transformer. It will not connect to a 240V socket. If you need a 240V version, Faithfull produce the same pod light in a 240V variant — check the product listing for the correct voltage before ordering.
Does the lamp need any bulb or tube replacements?
No. The SMD LED unit is sealed into the lamp head and is maintenance free for its rated lifespan. There are no replaceable tubes, starters, or filaments. If the LED unit fails outside of warranty, replacement of the whole head is the practical route rather than component-level repair.
Is the IP44 rating sufficient for outdoor use on a rainy building site?
IP44 means the unit is protected against water splashing from any direction and against solid objects larger than 1mm, so light rain and general site conditions are fine. It is not designed for submersion or sustained heavy water exposure, so keep it off the ground in standing water and do not leave it out in a downpour when not in use.
