Fit the appropriate adaptor to your core drill — SDS-Plus or 3-jaw chuck depending on your machine. Thread the selected core onto the arbor, insert the pilot drill, and mark your centre point clearly before starting. Use steady, consistent pressure and let the segments do the work. Forcing the core increases heat and reduces segment life.
For deeper walls, attach the 250mm extension bar to reach through without repositioning. Once the core is through, use the drift key to push the slug out of the barrel cleanly.
