Self Drill Driva Speed Plug Plasterboard Fixings with Screws

Self drill plasterboard fixings take the faff out of hollow wall fixing. No pilot hole, no wall plugs falling out, no messing about. You drive them straight into the plasterboard by hand or with a screwdriver, and they grip the back of the board as you go. The included screws mean you have everything you need in the box.

These Driva Speed Plug fixings use a twister-type design that cuts its own thread into the plasterboard as it goes in. That thread locks the fixing in place and prevents it from spinning when you tighten the screw. It is a much more reliable method than a standard cavity anchor on lightweight board, and it is considerably faster on a long first-fix day when you have got a lot of items to hang.

Metal and Nylon Self Drill Plasterboard Fixings

Both material options are available here. The metal version is the stronger of the two and is better suited to heavier loads, such as TV brackets, shelving supports, or anything that will see regular movement or weight. The nylon version is a solid choice for lighter items, curtain pole brackets, picture rails, or switch plates, where the load is modest and the fixing just needs to stay put.

Both types are available with 35mm screws, with the metal fixing also available in a 50mm screw length for situations where you need a little more reach, perhaps where the board has been double-layered or you are fixing through a thicker finish.
