Everbuild Opti-Mix Mortar Plasticiser is a concentrated liquid admixture designed to improve the workability, cohesion and durability of cement-based mixes. What Everbuild Opti-Mix Does for Your Mix

Added to the gauging water before mixing, Opti-Mix improves plasticity without weakening the finished mortar. The mix is easier to spread and key, it holds moisture longer during the working period, and the air entrainment it introduces is consistent and controlled. That controlled air content also provides a degree of frost resistance once the mortar has set, which matters on exposed brickwork, external render and pointing jobs where freeze-thaw cycles are a genuine concern.

It works equally well in sand and cement mixes, lime mixes, render coats and plaster applications. The concentrate format keeps costs down and reduces plastic waste on site compared to multiple smaller bottles — a single litre replaces what would otherwise be a lot of guesswork and quite a few empty bottles of dish soap.
