Everbuild One Strike Filler is a lightweight ready-mixed filler built around polymer bubble technology, giving it an unusually low density without sacrificing the fill. It handles everything from hairline cracks to fairly deep holes in one pass, which is the point really. Most fillers ask you to come back, let it shrink, fill again, sand, repeat. One Strike skips that entirely.
The key thing here is that it genuinely does not shrink. A lot of fillers will tell you they’re one-coat solutions and then quietly sink below the surface as they dry, leaving a dip you have to go back to. This one holds its level. Once it’s in and dry, what you see is what you’ve got, flush with the surrounding surface and ready for primer or paint in roughly 30 minutes depending on depth and temperature.
Finishing is easier than with standard filler too. The lightweight formula sands effortlessly when it does need a touch, and in many cases a light pass with fine paper is all you need before decorating. On smoother application jobs it can go straight to paint.

One Strike comes ready mixed so there's nothing to prepare. Open the tub, load your filling knife, and push the filler firmly into the hole or crack, making sure it's fully packed with no air voids. Strike off slightly proud and allow to cure. In most cases it can be painted or primed within about 30 minutes, though deeper fills will benefit from a little longer. Sand lightly if needed, though on clean applications you can often skip that step entirely.

How long before it can be painted over?
