These stone cutting discs are built for general masonry work on site — the kind of cutting that happens every day and needs to be reliable every time. Made with high-grade silicon carbide grit and bonded with a quality bakelite resin, each disc carries two fibreglass reinforcements and is manufactured in compliance with EN12413. That standard matters: it sets minimum safety requirements for bonded abrasive products, so you know what you’re getting before the disc even touches the grinder.

The 3.0mm flat profile keeps cuts clean and precise without excessive material removal. All sizes from 100mm through to 230mm fit standard angle grinders with either 16mm or 22.2mm bore. The 300mm disc is specified for portable engine-driven power saws — not your standard angle grinder, so worth checking before you order if you’re after the larger size.

What These Stone Cutting Discs Handle

The range covers concrete blocks, engineering bricks, natural stone, roof tiles, kerb stones and similar hard masonry. They’ll also cut copper, brass and aluminium cleanly, which makes them a reasonable choice when you’ve got mixed materials and don’t want to swap discs every five minutes. Not suitable for steel or ferrous metals — that needs a different abrasive entirely.

Buying in a box of 25 makes sense for any job where masonry cutting is regular work. Groundworkers, bricklayers, roofers and general builders all get through discs at pace, and having a supply on hand avoids the usual scramble to the merchant mid-job. At this price point per box, it’s straightforward to keep stock on the van without it hurting.

Pro Tip: Always unpack and inspect discs before use — a hairline crack in the reinforcement layer is hard to see but means the disc should be binned, not spun up at 11,000rpm.
