Timloc Underfloor Vent – Duct Adaptor – To suit 110mm (1 pcs)
£2.80£3.36 EX VATINC VAT
Connects a telescopic underfloor ventilator to a standard 110mm plastic underground drainage pipe via a coupling. Fits onto the lower rear opening of the Timloc telescopic underfloor vent.
The Timloc underfloor vent duct adaptor is a straightforward but important component in any underfloor ventilation setup. It fits onto the lower rear opening of a Timloc telescopic underfloor ventilator and allows you to connect directly to a standard 110mm external diameter plastic underground drainage pipe using a standard coupling. Without it, getting a proper sealed connection between your vent and any pipework run beneath the floor is a lot more awkward than it needs to be.
Underfloor ventilation is one of those jobs that gets underestimated on site. Get it wrong and you end up with damp, timber decay, and a callback you didn’t budget for. Using the correct adaptor makes the whole system work as intended, keeping the airflow path sealed and directing it where it needs to go rather than just venting into a void with no control. The duct adaptor bridges the gap between the vent body and whatever pipe run you’re feeding air through, whether that’s running under a suspended timber floor, through a beam and block sub-floor, or across a longer distance where a simple open brick vent won’t do the job.
Where the Timloc Duct Adaptor Fits Into the System
Timloc’s telescopic underfloor ventilators are designed to extend through the thickness of the wall cavity, adjusting to suit different wall constructions. The duct adaptor sits at the rear of that unit, on the internal side, where it provides a proper 110mm connection point. From there you can run standard drainage pipe underground or beneath the slab to draw fresh air into areas that can’t be reached from a direct wall vent alone. It’s a common solution on longer terrace rows, extensions with restricted external wall access, or anywhere the sub-floor space needs ventilation but a direct through-wall vent isn’t practical.
Available in a range of colours including White, Black, Brown, Buff, Grey, Terracotta, Blue and Black, and Clear. That said, being fitted to the rear of the vent unit, the adaptor itself isn’t usually visible once installed, so colour matching here is more about consistency with the rest of the vent assembly than aesthetics. Match it to your vent and you’re good.
Sold individually, which is useful when you’re making up a specific number of duct connections on a project, or replacing a single damaged adaptor without buying more than you need.
Pro Tip: When connecting the drainage pipe to the adaptor, use a standard 110mm push-fit coupling rather than trying to force a direct pipe connection; it keeps the joint removable if the vent ever needs to come out.
