Sika Stixall Ultra Hybrid Adhesive & Sealant 300ml Crystal Clear

Sika Stixall Ultra is a hybrid polymer adhesive and sealant that does away with the usual compromise. Most sealants make you pick a lane — strength or flexibility, high grab or paintable finish. Stixall Ultra ignores that entirely. One 300ml cartridge handles bonding, sealing and gap-filling across a huge range of substrates, and this Crystal Clear variant does it without leaving a visible bead on surfaces where colour matters.

It skins over in around thirty minutes and cures at roughly 1.5mm per day, building to full strength while staying permanently flexible. That flexibility is not a footnote — it holds from -40°C up to +100°C, which means it handles the kind of thermal movement that splits lesser sealants within a season or two. Mould, UV, petrol and most common chemicals are not a problem either. Damp surfaces? Fine. Wet surfaces? Also fine. There is even documented use for brief underwater repairs, which is not something you can say about most tubes on the shelf.

Where Sika Stixall Ultra Earns Its Place on Site

Window and door perimeter sealing is probably the most common application — the kind of joint that needs to look clean, stay weathertight and flex with the building year after year. The Crystal Clear version is particularly useful here where a white or grey bead would stand out against glass, natural stone or dark-stained timber. It also works well for bonding mirrors and splashbacks to plasterboard or tiles, securing skirting, and sealing sanitary areas where mould resistance matters.

The certification list is worth knowing about if you are working on commercial or public sector jobs. Stixall Ultra carries UKCA and CE marks, meets EN15651 for both façade and sanitary classifications, and holds EMICODE EC1 Plus for low emissions — important on occupied building sites. It is also approved for food preparation areas under EN 1186-13:2002 and is LEED v4 and BREEAM compliant. That last point can make the difference when a specifier or main contractor is asking questions about what products are going into the building envelope.
