SMART H8MAK Trade Series Universal Multi Tool Blade Set – 8 Pc
£19.89£23.87 EX VATINC VAT
Eight popular multi-tool blades in one pack. Cuts wood, plastic, nails, plasterboard and fibreglass. Universal quick-release fitment for most major brands. Good value, sensible selection — the kind of pack you actually want in the van.
The SMART H8MAK is a straightforward 8-piece multi-tool blade set that covers the cuts you make every day on site. Bi-metal blades, fine tooth blades, Japanese tooth blades — four types across two sizes each, bundled into one pack at a price that makes sense for trade use. If you burn through blades regularly, buying a set like this beats hunting individual blades down one at a time.
The universal quick-release fitment is the practical bit. It fits the vast majority of popular multi-tool brands on the market, so you are not locked into a single system. Worth noting: it does not fit Starlock connections, so if you are running a Bosch Starlock or Fein Starlock machine, this is not the one. For everything else, you should be fine.
What the SMART H8MAK Blade Set Includes
The pack contains two bi-metal blades — a 32mm and a 44mm — which handle the tougher cuts: wood with nails in it, metal fixings left in frames, that sort of thing. The two fine tooth blades, again 32mm and 63mm, are better suited to cleaner cuts in plastic, plasterboard and fibreglass where you want a tidy finish. The remaining four are Japanese tooth blades in both 32mm and 63mm, which are the workhorses of the set — good fast cutters in timber and general softwood work.
Eight blades across that range gives you flexibility without carrying a full box of loose blades around. The set is popular with first and second fix carpenters, kitchen fitters, plumbers cutting into walls, and anyone doing strip-out work where you never quite know what the blade is going to hit next.
Pro Tip: Japanese tooth blades dull faster in dense hardwood than bi-metal, so save them for softwood and boarding work and reach for the bi-metal when you are cutting into older frames that might have hidden nails or screws.
