B1 fire rated expanding foam gun grade is the product you reach for when the job demands more than just a good seal. This is a one-component, self-expanding polyurethane foam rated for up to 240 minutes of fire resistance, tested to EN1366-4. The foam expands to fill cavities completely, bonding tightly to most common substrates including masonry, timber, metal and glass. Teflon, polyethylene and polypropylene are the exceptions, but on everything else the adhesion is strong and consistent. Usage

Shake the can for at least 20 seconds before use and repeat shaking regularly throughout application. Attach the can to a foam gun using the Click and Fix adapter. Lightly mist the substrate and cavity walls with clean water before dispensing, as moisture is essential for the curing process.

Fill cavities to no more than 65% of their volume. The foam will expand to fill the remainder. If working in layers, re-moisten between each layer. Working temperature range is 5 degrees C to 40 degrees C, with best results between 20 and 25 degrees C. Once cured, protect exposed foam from UV exposure by painting over it or applying a compatible sealant such as silicone, MS polymer, acrylic or PU sealant.
