Soudal Fixall – Crystal Clear

Soudal Fix All Crystal Clear is a single-component sealant and adhesive based on MS-Polymers, curing to a fully transparent, flexible bond. Where most grab adhesives leave a visible bead behind, this one essentially disappears — which makes it genuinely useful when you are bonding glass, clear polycarbonate panels, decorative trims, or anything where a white or grey line would ruin the finish. It is neutral curing, solvent-free, and free of isocyanates, so it sits comfortably in well-ventilated and indoor spaces without the sharp chemical smell you get from some alternative formulations.

The MS-Polymer base gives Fix All Crystal its elasticity after cure. Joints can move slightly without the bond cracking, which matters on exterior applications where thermal expansion is a factor. It extrudes cleanly even in cold weather down to around 5°C, so it keeps working on site in autumn and winter when other adhesives start to stiffen in the cartridge. Application is straightforward — standard manual or pneumatic caulking gun, no mixing, no priming on most surfaces.

Where Soudal Fix All Crystal Gets Used

Bond strength is genuinely strong across a wide range of substrates: glass, metals, most plastics, timber, ceramics, painted surfaces, and common construction boards. The transparency is the key selling point — wherever you need an adhesive joint that stays invisible, Soudal Fixall Crystal Clear is the practical answer. It can be overpainted, though a quick compatibility test is sensible before you commit on a large area, particularly with alkyd-based paints.

It handles interior and exterior bonding and sealing applications, and the UV stability is good for outdoor use, though prolonged extreme exposure can cause slight discolouration over time. A few firm limitations to know before you buy: not suitable for dilatation joints, not for areas of continuous water immersion, not for use on natural stone, and not a glazing sealant for structural glazing applications. Use it within those boundaries and it performs reliably.
